Greetings from Poland!

I'm joining the Zealot community because I would like to share my passion for paper and card modelling and learn from other modelers.
I am particularly interested in:
• ships and architecture in 1:400 scale
• aircraft and vehicles in 1:100 scale
• detailed card modelling
• LED lighting
• ATtiny microcontrollers
• combining traditional modelling with electronics
My goal is to bring paper models to life with realistic lighting and small electronic effects.
Greetings from Poland!

Hello and welcome to Zealot! You have come to the right place for all things paper & cardstock, as well as model building as a whole, and to build and hone your skills.

If you have any photos of any of the models that you have already built, by all means, please post them. We love seeing photos.

I have always like the idea of applying electronics to paper/cardstock models. I would be very interested in seeing how you apply electronics to your models.

When you start a new project, please post a build thread. Build threads are a great way of show off your work and skills. Not only that, but if you run into an issue with a model you can highlight the area that you are having problems with and we can offer you some suggestions on how to deal with them.

So, if you have any questions, comments, concerns, need help or advice. Please feel free to ask and we will do what we can to help you (or at least point you in the right direction).

Once again, welcome aboard. I hope that you enjoy yourself here. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Hello great to have you here. I used lfibre optics in one of my models and it looked very nice. Do you have any previous builds that you can share here with us.

We are so glad you have joined this forum. Feel free to post in this ANYTHING you have made, model or real world size. Welcome to Zealotmodels!!!

Addendum, one of my favorite things is lofting ship hulls. I could help you with that, or anything else. I model using Rhino-8 a (NURBS) CAD program (NURBS= Non Rational Bezier Curves, which I can export to in 64 different CAD programs formats, including /pegs, of unfolded models. I am also a State of Connecticut Licensed Electronic Technician. I had a TV, computer and Audio repair shop for 10 years. I may be able help you and know of some good sites that can generate schematics on how to power multiple series/parallel electronic circuits for LEDS, and can show you how to shape an LED.. :)
