I like helicopters, so maybe I'll add a helicopter model here from time to time...;)

Sikorsky S 97 IMG_8317.jpg

The Sikorsky S-97 is a high-speed multipurpose combat helicopter developed by the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. The development of the S-97 helicopter was initiated in connection with the US Army's AAS (Armed Aerial Scout) program, the aim of which was to obtain a replacement for the OH-58 Kiowa reconnaissance helicopters. Although this ambitious program was canceled in 2013, the Sikorski company decided to continue the development of the S-97 type. An innovative two-rotor concept with a rear thrust propeller was chosen for the helicopter. Thanks to it, the helicopter achieves significantly higher cruising and maximum speeds than conventional types. (source Wikipedia)

My first and hopefully not the last helicopter. Model built without modifications, I just added a base.

As always excellent work! Always good to see the master "do his thing".:)

Thanks :), the author also wrote to me that he was glad that someone had glued the helicopter, so I hope that I won't be left alone and that in time there will be other finished models of this helicopter that will be glued even better than mine. ;)
