 Aloha my (paper/everything)crafting hobby compatriots, 'tis i, your witty wonder from the toasty hell that is the UK. Apologies for my absence, as usual my health has been on strike and have all but moved into our local hospital(s) so most things have been on pause for a bit, some minor hobbying when my brain allows but nowt more than that. I hope everyone has been plucking away at their hobbies in these testy (toasty ) times, i will ofc try my best to post my latest (ongoing) distraction soon.
Some amazing projects going on since i was last here, some do have me chomping at the bit to get my workstation messy (im speaking of you Mijob that SW Andor build :surprise:)
Anyway, have fun, stay sane, remember the sunblock and have no fear.....ill be back :BRAVO:
Az
(current wip....still loads to do)

Its great to see you get back. I hope everything is getting better with your health? And thank you for your kind words.

I am glad to see that you are back. I am sorry to hear that you are in the hostipal. I hope that you make a strong and speedy recovery. Both you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have built that model of the Galactica a few times. IT is a fun build. I can see that you havve started to greeble it out. I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I wish you the very best of luck with it.

Its ok atm, my health unfortunately will always be a thing, ever since i first fell ill, which can make it difficult to stick to things in a stable routine, but challenge accepted and i try to keep up even though im on and off like a light switch lol - and those kind words are factual my friend, some amazing work, both by yourself and all the creators here :toast:

Thank you RB :toast:
Its a great model, and the greebliness of it is a definite rabbit hole so ill keep it reasonable with this one for the moment, still more to do yet so its a bit of an ongoing project but ill add more pics soon lol

Great looking Galactica!! Medical issue just plain suck. I hope you are doing well, as well as possible. A lot of here are going through medical issues. Being who I am here, I am quite shocked to know just how many people who are in pain and suffering are in this forum. It gives some peace of mind to know there is a place on the internet with great people on it. :)

Great-looking support for the fleet! Glad to see you around and still kicking. I hope that you are feeling better soon. We have entered a hell stage here in Germany, too:

This was the peak on Friday afternoon (for our US residents: it was 100 degrees F!). The weekend brought us some relief but I can assure you this week was the hottest we have ever experienced. Several towns broke a new record with almost 42 degrees C. This was no longer called "weather", it was overkill. I live under the roof and we had 30+ degrees C constantly, even at nights. We couldn't do ANYTHING, even holding still squeezed us out like a ripe lemon. We were literally melting. Thank goodness the temperature is getting down now, giving us a chance to breathe again. :)
