Hello Ladies and gentlemen,

It is time for a new project. Several years ago, someone decided to make several models (in 28mm/1:60 scale, which are specifically for "TABLETOP GAMING) that both resembled and represented a few different TV & movie franchises. Some of these franchises are "Battlestar Galactica, ALIENS. HALO, STARSHIP TROOPERS, TRON, ETC. The person that I am referring to is Christopher Roe, the owner of the website: https://www.genetmodels.com/

When I for saw these models, I thought that they were quite interesting. Granted, they are a very close representation of the of the vehicles and equipment of the franchise they represent. However, these models (for their size and scale) are quite details. These models are (for the most part) easy to assemble and easily lend themselves to potential greebling.

I have decided to build a few of these models to both demonstrate ease of the assembly and how to greeble them out to the fullest extent of the model. Each of the models that I will be building, I will build twice; once "as-is" (per the template and instrustructions), and once greebled out to the fullest extent (to include, but not limited to moving parts).

I am starting off with the "CHAPARRAL RECON BIKE" (Yes, this is the "TRON" LIGHT CYCLE clone).

Yes, there are eight different colours to choose from.

I chose to build the "white" bike. Here is how the whole parts sheet looks like. As you can see, the parts sheet contains the parts to build two bikes.

This was a very simple "DAY" build.

I will rebuild this with greebling.

I would have cut the wheels round, instead of the flats like that, but it looks great! :)
