Detailed Colonial Shuttle MK-1 (with cockpit interior

Now for the engine exhaust system. There are two engine exhausts in all. The assembly is straight forward.

Here are the parts for the engine exhaust system.

I decided to add "screen" material to the exhaust.

I cut the center ring out and glued it to the fine screen material (I used PVE (Aleene's) glue).

I attached the center ring in place (using PVA glue).

This (PARTICULAR) project has now come to an end. The reason why, is that I recently had to get a new printer. Unfortunately, the (new) printed parts sheets are (slightly) larger than that of the printed parts sheets from the old printer (the old printer was an HP Officejet and the new printer is a BROTHER workhorse inkjet). Yes, I did go through the settings of the new printer to make adjustments, to make the parts sheet the same size as the old ones. However, I also noticed that the print quality between the two is so very different that the new parts were glaringly obvious. So, I have decided to completely scrap this project and restart it al a later date.

I feel you pain RB, my old Cannon printer died and my new HP is no where near as good, unless it runs in photo mode.

The HP that I was using, I inherited from my uncle. Unfortunately, it was quite old, well used, and (to top things off) it was unmaintained for (roughly) four years (Not only that, but the ink was grossly expensive). It was time to replace it, and get a better (and updated) one. I have had very good results with BROTHER brand printers, so that is why I decided to get another BROTHER printer.

Oh dude!! Why didn't you get the Epson Maxify with the CISS system for $279? That set up alone could print 2000 text and picture pages. The printer has a 3 year warranty, and the ink refills are cheap. You'll be paying a lot for Brother Ink, I don't know if is all Pigment Ink either. Oh well.
