It took me some time to make this part from the DS. Lots of good build sugestions. Im talking about this part.
This is what I have made from it and Im very pleased how it looks like.
Next step is to assemble the parts together.

HOLY!!! It's raining stunning builds here these days, methinks! 
IF this is going to be an indicator of the level of complexity of this model; you are setting a very high bar with this one!

Thanks you all. I just found some parts that I forgot to put on the "ring and the disc" So more details to be added.

Last part for the laser disc is ready when all parts are assembled together I will make some new pictures.
And I have finished the template for round two. This is the magnetic shielding only 5 pages.
The template is for the pink colourd parts.
There are lots of parts to cut but they will add something extra to the parts/model.

Last couple off days I have worked on the magnetic shield chamber. Biggest issue was to find a way to give the chamber some stiffness. I have used a view layers of thick cardboard. Im pretty happy with how it looks like. Below some pictures.
Now I can add some extra shielding parts in the cone to give it more depth. Also I can attach the parts off the laser disc. So still lots of work todo.

Yeah its a step by step project. Im working my way down to the core and then to the top or bottom. There is a long road ahead.
The chamber is ready and I installed the first parts in it.
I like the cross section that shows all the details in the chamber. Now Im working on the pipes outside the chamber.
