First class passengers on Acela Express can now enjoy greater onboard dining selections thanks to a new menu for at-seat meal service. The new menu was developed by the Amtrak Culinary Advisory team, whose members include renowned chef Michel Richard, James Beard Chef of the Year for 2007 and owner of Washington, DC's Michel Richard Citronelle. Among the selections available exclusively to first class passengers are: Mushroom Quiche, Braised Short Rib with Cheesy Grits, Samuel Adams® Beer Braised Beef with Rice Pilaf, Vegetable Paella and Spinach and Artichoke Dip with Hummus.
