Cant select flex track on RTS7

I am having a problem with RTS. I finally manage to learn how to use it but now stuck with the flex track part. As you can see from the screen shot, the icon for Flex track and to form it cannot be selected. Am i doing something wrong?

must first have 2 endpoints in place (turnout or sectional) to add flextrack

i created my track plan by using all sectional track first. Then i went back and deleted a few peices of sectional track, then added my flex track.

After adding flex track, go to tools, modify flex track, and change the radius of track. I do beleive it's under tools?
