ATR-72 in Arkia (Israel) livery 1:72

Howdy all
And I have the rotating propellers ready.
There is a design issue. The propellers in this plane rotate counterclockwise, so the propeller blade should have its edge with smaller diameter face left when the blade in top position, looking at the nose of the plane. I will fix this thing in drawings.

Well, actually, Arkia stopped using these ATR-72-500 in 2017. So, it is not a fantasy, it's history
But, there is a new airline, called Air Haifa. They are using newer ATR-72-600 exclusively. Which brings me ideas, since I was living in Haifa for some time

In reference to the engine parts you assembled, I was thinking of kit bashing some kind of fantasy flying machine, those engines would be great :)

I must admit that the French, English and Italians know how to make some beautiful planes and cars. ;)

Hello all
Now that the forum had moved, I can add an update
I began working on the chassis.
The parts are really thin and small which means that probably the chassis will not be able to bear the weight of the model.
Not a big deal, since I meant to put the model on the provided stand.
Parts fit is very good.
To be continued...

Hello all
Well, I finished with the landing gear, installed them into their wells, added the doors, two antennas and that's it, this model building saga is finished.

Now, the conclusion.
The design is very good, seriously.
Thanks and kudos to Mario and Edwin, AKA Citycraft and Hermercraft.
My repaint fits the real ATR-72-500 4X-AVX that flew for Arkia airlines.

Most troublesome parts for me were the engines, the lower main gear cowling and rear part of the wing cowling. Required a lot of patience....
Also, main gear well need to be fortified if building with landing gear extended.
The main landing gears are quite flimsy, need to be creative to reinforce them l. Superglue is one of the ways.
In all, I am quite happy with this build, as far as I know, it is the only model of Arkia Airlines..
I found some small repaint issues, I will fix them and release this model tob public.
Sorry it took so long

Thats is a great model you have build. it was fun to watch your building thread.
