The build thread for the space marines will start shortly, here is a teaser for the the Warhammer crowd. As shown in Armormans thread, the size is about inquisitor size and leaves a lot of room for detailing and posing. I used some items from JC kerinsky's design found here.http://zealotmodels.com/threads/armormans-warhammer-40k-models-thread.170912/page-25 It is not in the resouces at the moment but mine will be there I used especially the upper body and the weapons. There are a lot of tweaks in the build and it is build-able. The model for this thread will be that of a Space Wulf. I hope that you will all enjoy another long boring thread by me.

My friend, your threads are far from boring!!!
I have learned a GREAT from ALL of your threads (regardless of the topic). I am very certain that I will learn something from this one as well.
So please do not stop making build threads!!!

Thanks for the kudos, writing boring is my way of showing some levity. I do enjoy doing the builds threads, and yes, there are some more techniques in this one that I have not covered in the past. It will be interesting and the model can be reduced in size to be compatible with the Patoroch models. Enjoy and see you all soon, i have a big batch of photos to edit and continue to build at the same time.

Cool, I'll be watching this thread :)

Thanks for looking in and your word of support.

Continuing with the Space Marine. The shoulder pads are formed, the environmental support is attached. The unit designations are applied, for this marine, it is a tactical unit The arrow for this marine will eventually black but for now it is white. The wulf head is a bit low but it will be rectified later on. The waist is formed and it should fit snugly into the upper armor chest plate. I will glue mine into place but if left unglued, it can be shifted to pose the figure into different positions.

Thanks for looking in. A lot of those things I have stopped doing, I am fully retired now and my grandkids take up a lot of my time. between baseball and American football, and travel teams I am constantly on the go.

Here are some more updates on the build thread.

This is coming together beautifully!
I like the layered detail that you are adding. At this scale, it adds allot of depth to the figure as a whole.

'Silver-Mach 5-Oxide is out of the gate!! :)

I was already planning this figure when armorman posted the link to this version. Those plans fit perfectly with my own and enhanced it further. Even though the plans are almost done I keep adding more stuff and details to it. I like this size much better than the smaller versions and the GI-Joe 12 inch version.

This almost sound like it is post time and I can hear the beginning of the race at "El Hipodromo Roberto Clemente" in Puerto Rico.

More updates on the build, the arms legs and the most tedious part of the build, the foot.

Wow, they have Hippo Races in Puerto Rico? Damn, being that I am Puerto Rican*, you would think I would have known that!! I find that fascinating. How do the Hippo's adjust to the humidity. I know they can take the heat. Hippo Pernir! Hmm!! I imagine you could use Tsumo wrestlers as Jockeys! I always wondered where these pics came from, was this the early days? Doesn't seem to have changed much, and those look like "white" maybe even British, people, with a P.R. picking up the Poop, figures! The training a Hippo to pull one of those racing "thingys" must be difficult! This would make Peter Potamus proud, even Soso.;)

*yeah that's right, what's it to you :finger: :)

I like the grenades and ammo pouch. They gives it that extra touch that sets it apart from the rest!

Thanks. It is the details that make a model stand out.

As mentioned earlier, the figure is finished but the editing will continue for a while and also some extra options to the model will be posted as well. I have three head configurations, the sword, Two environmental back packs configurations, the power chainsword, and weapons of different liveries. Enjoy and see you with some more updates.
