You are off to a great start. I am looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
Assembling the upper and lower parts 2. What I like about this model so far is that the parts fit together very nicely.

Love what you have done so far! Always liked the simplicity of the A-Wing design NOT as clunky as the X-wing. Like the colors as well.

I always have liked the "A-Wing", it looks like if you placed weights just in front of the center of gravity, it would glide, launched by a rubber band. One of the few Star Wars ships that looks functional. I only refer to atmospheric ships, as in space, shape isn't that important (depending on what your doing).

Engine and cabin. Unfortunately, you can't see it very well in the photos, but I covered the colorful instruments with clear varnish to make them look like glass. However, it looks good on the model itself.

You are making great progress on this project!
As suggestion (for future builds like this), you can recess the control panel screens and the put a small dab of clear acrylic paint in the recession (to simulate the glass).
