Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on a small series about the history of papercraft, trying to trace how we went from paper as a material to actual assembled paper models.
This is not meant to be a definitive or academic take, but rather a personal exploration based on references and observations, looking at how different techniques, materials and cultural contexts gradually contributed to what we now recognize as papercraft.
I know this is a simplified overview, but I tried to keep it readable and connected to papercraft itself.
The idea is to expand this gradually, exploring different periods and regions over time.
I thought it could be interesting to share here and also get feedback from people who know more about the subject.

If you see anything inaccurate or have additional info, I’d really appreciate it.
