    Is there a SeaQuest?

Not "seaquestered" but see-sawing... I have not found any made paper model. I did find a 3D file, that others alerted me too as well, and even couple of others that were less detailed. Unfortunately, my computer equipment is insufficient and I do not have software to extract an .stl format...

    Is there a SeaQuest?

That's a good idea for me. I may try got build one. A strong wire frame could provide the skeleton. Unfortunately, my peer needed a model for his child and that effort would exceed the audience! Changing an stl file to a kit would be more likely to accomplish that, if I can figure that out...

    Is there a SeaQuest?

That’s a good idea! There was a fella who did a thread of that technique a couple of years back… If the internal structure was built with wire and mesh , and the skin wet to shape, maybe the paint job could be accomplished with watercolors and ink pen? This would not work for my colleague...

    Is there a SeaQuest?

Is it possible to take screenshots and break them down into forms, or better to start scratch? I know there were those stealing images from video games and movie (when enough angles were provided), and on the age of AI, it made me wonder?

    Is there a SeaQuest?

I don’t, but I will learn! I have a program on my Mac called Sketchbook…I’ll try that first. Then I’ll look at your path and use my PC at my office if not. I appreciate the suggestion. I need to learn to CAD so I can do this stuff myself. I have Pepkura on the PC but never learned to unfold...

    Is there a SeaQuest?

That's a great site! Lots of cool detail. I didn't realize that the show had such a devoted fan base. I found a 3D model online, in stl format, but when I tried converting it to png or jpg, I was not very successful. I'm wondering whether I cold get it converted into parts, like in Pepekura...

    Is there a SeaQuest?

Shame, but I see your point. The front hull and rear hull would be possible, but the center hangar area is such a globe, and the curved areas leading to it with the gas in between the fore and aft hull... Your probably right about the difficulty. I think the recent release of the show on...

    Is there a SeaQuest?

Ok; this is a long shot. Did anyone ever make a SeaQuest DSV submarine paper model? I have found a 3D model file, but nothing on the web of a complete model. Looking for a deserving novice builder who asked!

    Spaceagent-9 2017 build pic threads

Well, that's never been established in canon, but that was what the designer intended. He deployed the same technique for the engines, under the main engineering housing, and the pattern was followed for the Grissom, the Klingon Bird of Prey, and even the Merchantman. He liked heat sinks... Not...

Well, Possible, but less likely. The shield grid is the pattern of latitudinal and longitudinal lines along the primary and secondary hull. The twin impulse deflector crystals feed into the shield grid. The interconnecting dorsal never, from TOS to TNG, played a role in shield generation, save...

    Spaceagent-9 2017 build pic threads

Well, you asked an unanswerable question. The ribbed section is the interconnecting dorsal of the Excelsior (between primary and secondary hulls). Note the "heat-sink" style of neck detail that ILM was in favor of suggesting, at the time (this styling will reflect in the Bird Of Prey warp...
