I am designing a sidecar for my motorcycle

I've made some progress on finalizing the body of the sidecar. The design is done in a matter that I won't have to compound bend any meetal, as that's difficult, and hard in the back, even harder on the pockets!! :)

Teladi Kea (X3 AP, X-Universe) - low poly edition

Where do you live? I do audio repair. I wish we lived close to each other. I have a 5 string Honer Natural Blonde Bass Guitar. They made that Bass for only a couple of years. It's a wonderful Bass. I play Violin too. I understand the priorities, and you must have good shoes to get...

If you are a student, or have a child or relative who is a student, you can purchase a full working CAD program called Rhino3D. I've been using it for around 15 years. NASA uses it for designing space craft parts. Rhino3D was used to make the shapes for the tiles of the "Space Shuttle', it...

English too, for those who only speak one language, Bitte! You're the only person I could think of that would make a Diorama of this scene of the movie. I think most wouldn't believe it could be pulled off, but I have faith in you. Du bist die Einzige, die mir einfällt, die ein Diorama...

Jurrasic Park - Lost World minidiorama

The show used a S-76 in one episode, but the helicopter used as the main unit was a modified Bell 222, an awesome Helo in it's own right, but far inferior to the Sikorsky S-76 (which still holds some world records). The Sikorsky far more beautiful helicopter (IMHO), a heluva lot faster, could...

Well, this model definitely needs some design work. You built it as good as anyone could, given what you were given to work with. Nice thing about this model, if you had a little kid watching this show, and put this model in his hand, I know when I was little, when these shows were first being...

I'm 68, and I have a lot of air, sea, and space time with the models I have, and I don't even have to leave my recliner. :)

When you realize how big some of the moving vehicles were, running small diesel engines, etc. you really understand the there was quite an effort put into these shows. I don't think we'll ever see shows with miniatures like used in those television series ever again. Well, maybe, lots of shows...

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We had a nice Thanksgiving. I think this year it's popularity has bounced back a bit. It seemed that people were getting hard heartened, and I always found the social aspect of Thanksgiving the best part. Happy Thanksgiving to one and all, and to "Tiny Tim". :)

I saw those pictures, imagined the work involved. I have to take a nap now, and I'm experience ghost pains i my fingers. The tanks looks excellent. I don't think it's possible to do a better job, well, somehow you could but I wouldn't know how. Fantastic!! :)

Silent Running "Dewey" drone walker robot with electronics

I've been wanting to get into the Arduino scene, but technology is pulling me in the other direction. I am starting to repair all of my Tube amplifiers. I found out one that I have is worth around $2500 bucks not working. I was offered $5K for a 1961 H.H. Scott LC290 Laboratory Amplifier, it...

You could go to a weld shop and purchase a stick of TIG weld wire very cheap, he'll probably give you one, I couldn't imagine paying more that a dollar or two, and they are like 3 feet long, that's a lot of models. it's .035" thin. You can shape that, poke a hole somewhere in the bottom, or...

    mijob's TIE Phantom

You really have caught the feel of the model with the stand. Honestly, you don't see that often, and you hit that nail right on the head. I don't know if you know this, but you can shape LED bulbs with a fine machinist file, and polish it, or not, depending or the look your going for. As long...

    B-26 Marauder Flak Bait

I showed this model to my wife, and it astonished her. There are very few that get that kind of reaction out of her. It could be because I'm shoving so many model pictures in her face, but that shows how much model this stands out. ;)
