We have a couple of astilbe (a type of spirea) bushes in the yard, & I've used them from time to time for trees... This pic is from my HOn30 layout...the brown tree in front of the rock outcropping is a sprig of astilbe used as is... I've also used seedum, crepe myrtle, & this great little...

Updtae: Save for a few touch-ups, I've pretty much got the roof finished...

TrainNut, I like your scene also…Hey, I’ve been a member here for five years, entered I don’t know how many contests, & I’ve never won one…But I’m not going to throw in the towel…I like taking pictures of my trains…Even though they’re not contest quality, I like taking them anyway…it’s not...

I don't know if this will help, or if it would be feasible for you, but it looks like to me the upper track needs to curve over the lower one...If there is a way you could build the bridge as a deck girder, instead of a through girder, (track on top of girders instead of between them) this would...
