Yes, if it isn’t too much trouble, I would appreciate it. :)

Very nice. Thanks for the idea too, my flying machine actually has an ION engine, now that I think of it. Hmmm… LOL

    I got some me time!

Wow, she looks like a great buddy. I love my animals. My little dawg is my only pet now. Never had a dragon, but I did have quite a few little color changing lizards over the years.

    Catapult Flight Deck 1/32 scale

Very cool! Thank you very much! I see possibilities for this ‘building’ in my playground. :toast:

    Need rivets?

I’m laughing at that picture above… look at the lines of rivets above the arrow. They aren’t straight or even, and this is an aircraft! Let the rivet counters look.

Look at this page. LOTS of good textures. https://www.textures.com/search?q=Rivets sign up for free for 15 daily credits. Here’s a sample. I ran out of credits today and have to go back tomorrow for more.

How many men to change a light bulb? The US Navy answer.

Wrong… my wife isn’t there to tell them what to do. :smoker:

1954 Hudson Hornet, Mobius 1/25 scale kit

This is the air brush I got. They had a big discount at the time so it came in at right 50 bucks. It appears to be very well built. I thought if the little compressor dies eventually, I’ll just dig out my fancy one. It is a Silent 50 compressor.

Thank you! I have a cheap, double action gun with a tiny compressor that is adjustable. No pressure gauge, but I figured it will work… max pressure says 35 psi. I have a professional, VERY expensive compressor, for metal engraving (past hobby) but I don’t have room or energy to use it now. So...

    Homemade tools and organizers.

Go for it! I have a HUGE wooden desk and storage unit plus more space in our bedroom, but I can’t get to it. Too much stuff from former hobbies. Last fall I planned to move the stuff out to a storage unit in the yard, but it started snowing and never stopped. It is STILL snowing. Hopefully...

Try Your Hand at Popsicle Stick Builds?

Very cool, thanks! The Mini AT-ST and the AT-TE look like they would make good buddies for my 1:35 Army Men. :noteeth:

1954 Hudson Hornet, Mobius 1/25 scale kit

Thanks for the tip! I’m being pretty lazy. Wife is going to help me mix a tan color for the interior and I want to start experimenting with the air brush. I have never operated one, so this will be a test.

    Magnolia

This is quite a build, very impressive. I have sent you a message Bill, an offer to attempt to help with the iPad. Other ideas include emailing the photos to one of us so we could post them. Your work is too good, we need to be able to see your progress. Good luck!

That cat was quite a thing. He came to us as a young cat, was shot by some idiot, attacked by a bobcat, and survived both. My little rat terrier loved him and Sylvester tolerated her. They were really buddies. I couldn’t find the pic with the dog on the cat’s back, ‘attacking’ him. He just...

I really like the LED lights. My current magnifier light is fluorescent, and will burn out eventually. When it does, a cheap ring light from Amazon will get taped on. I have two other lamps with them now. They are sold as ‘selfie’ lights. LOL

    Homemade tools and organizers.

I thought I had a thread for this, but apparently not. I’ll use this one to post ideas and pics of things I make to make the hobby more fun and easier to organize. Yesterday and this morning, some cardboard was saved from the landfill. The flaps off of an Amazon box became two little...

1954 Hudson Hornet, Mobius 1/25 scale kit

However it turns out, I’m having fun. I am learning the simple stuff now. See all those fiddly little bits in the lower left of the pic? I cut those off and painted them. DUH, now I leave that stuff on the sprue and cut it off AFTER painting. My old fingers don’t like those tiny things jumping...

Thanks! I’ll get some of that next Amazon order. I did find that the big red plastic cups are marked with 6, meaning that they are styrene. I’m also going to mess with making some sprue goo and sprue glue. It appears that the easiest way to get the solvent to make it is to get Tamiya Super...
