Wow that was fast! Thanks Starbuck, i just downloaded it, and the folder contained R2-D2, the AT-At, an Imperial Guard helmet, and the YT - 1300! I'm about to print it out, so again, thank you for this!

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. This same thing happened to a dear friend of ours, and it was just a terrible tragedy...My prayers are with you.

    AMT/Ertl Star Wars AT-ST Walker

If I remember the kit size correctly, I think it's about 1/48 scale, so you could use Tamiya figures to convert into Imperial crewmen, not to much of a difference, either! I really liked that kit, it was a fun build. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it :)

When is a paper model not a paper model?

That's absolutely brilliant! As a parent of two kids who had skin ( and every other) allergy, this is a fantastic idea! In pre-internet days, we went crazy with this problem, so I think a lot of people would benefit from it. And an eye-catching package design like this can only help your cause...

Buck Rogers Thunderfighter built by CrimsonLine, model designed by Martin Saenger

Thanks RB ! I'm going to download it and use it in the next one! So far I've built 4 of them, but it's such a favorite I know there's another build in the near future for me......Maybe with landing gear down this time.

Buck Rogers Thunderfighter built by CrimsonLine, model designed by Martin Saenger

Thanks Crimson! No, she's a resin casting of a figure i sculpted originally for the old Monogram Starfighter. Had a few casts laying around, so in she went! If you don't mind, here are a couple of pics.......By the way, the cockpit add on that RF and RB created is amazing! Thanks for that, guys...

Buck Rogers Thunderfighter built by CrimsonLine, model designed by Martin Saenger

Thank you both! I didn't have a close-up of the nosecones so I used this pic instead. Part 229 and I just can't get along, so I use the painted tooth pic sections for the cannons - Hopefully this tip will help someone out! And, if you glue them to the inside blast tube before you insert it into...

Buck Rogers Thunderfighter built by CrimsonLine, model designed by Martin Saenger

Crimson, Sorry to comment late in this. When I do the nosecones, I start by gently rolling them with a round file against my leg as a work surface. As it starts to curl, I use a bit more pressure, repeating until one edge rolls over the other. Since the part is sort of an arc, you have to...

    Model of Merit: Apollo 13 LM-7 Aquarius / UHU02

That is an incredible achievement on a kit that quite frankly intimidates me a great deal. You did a fantastic job, I admire your skill, and patience too!

Klingon Bird of Prey AMT 1/350 scale

Yup, I dug out my Bird of Prey it last night, started cleaning up the parts.....I forgot how excellent this kit is! The level of detail is way better than most of the other ST kits I've built. I was able to pick up a couple of these on e-bay a few years ago, really cheap, and just forgot about...

Klingon Bird of Prey AMT 1/350 scale

I agree, there's something special about a model built and painted by hand, and the Star Trek studio models are really works of art. I also admire your use of colors, really impressive!

Klingon Bird of Prey AMT 1/350 scale

Beautiful job, it really looks like a studio model. I love the way you weathered it, makes me want to build another one - I did mine with the wings straight out in 'cruising' mode, but it looks soooo cool in attack mode! Well done:)

Absolutely beautiful work, very clean and precise!

Star Wars - Millenium Falcon Weathered Version - Building

Starbuck, That looks great! My only suggestion would be to rotate the cocpit section up so it's not drooping. Otherwise, a great build!

Buck Rogers Thunderfighter built by CrimsonLine, model designed by Martin Saenger

Crimson, It's looking really great! But be prepared, once you finish this, you're going to want to build another....and another.... And with the parts RB and RF created, you'll be able to have a whole squadron! After you have one under your belt, the rest are very easy - I like doing the tedious...
