Hi Deano :wave:, just worked my way through the last 5 weeks of your thread – great stuff as usual :thumb:. I know, I am a bit late , but I like the Zephyr better . Did they really put that FM replica up on this bridge??? When I saw this picture, I thought at first that...

Deano, great job :thumb::thumb::thumb:. Even if you think you can get better results on your next weatherig jobs, I think it looks fantastic. Oh man, I still remember how nervous I was before I started to weather my Mikado , so I understand that you were scared. But the result makes it...

Deano, even though these are only progress shots, your GERN plant already looks fantastic :thumb::thumb::thumb:. It was a very good idea to use this old factory for your plant. Can’t wait to see it finished. Gus, do you know The Yardlimit? It is an interesting site with information on all the...

    March 7 Weekly Photo Fun

Really a sweeet start to this week’s thread. Great pics everyone :thumb:. I am sorry that I can’t contribute to the WPF at the moment. I stored my SoCal switching layout away for the next few weeks to make room for my second switching layout, that I started building. Once the basic works will...

Deano, this FM H10-44 is one of the engines that’s very high up on my list of locos I like most. Must be great to see and hear it run . With your permission, here are two pics of my new SAL VO-1000. (Steve, only one part jumped off my tweezers when I put the details on – I think you...

Deano, your RS-1 looks fantastic. I don’t think 6 hours is such a long time to make it look like that. Hey, it takes much longer for UP to get their engines that dirty :mrgreen:. Sarge, the paint scheme of your SDs is really stunning – great job.:thumb: Steve, I love that engine. I am...

Deano, I agree with you on Digitrax non-sound decoders. I had several of them over the years, but I won’t use then anymore. The MRC is a Brilliance decoder, but nothing I did, resulted in acceptable performance – even resetting to factory defaults does not help. After all I read about these...

Here is what I am doing

Kevin, you are right, the ATSF had one DL109 (#50L) and one DL110 (#50A) . They got them in May 1941 and they were scrapped in 1960. They were painted in the silver red warbonnet scheme. Mike, very good job on your DLs, they look great.

Deano, I love that GERN boxcar. Nice clean (I’m not talking about the weathering :p) looking design. But it’s no surprise that it turned out to be so nice: If it’s GERN, it’s good.

Tetter's Layout Progress and Other Pics.

Tetters, you never cease to amaze me. When you built your first turn out, I never thought you would reach these heights in creative trackwork (sorry ). I hope you won’t turn to other modeling projects soon :p, as I really enjoy to see what special pieces of track you come up with next.

Some very interesting pics, Deano :thumb:. What is it on the flat car – ingots or concrete ties? Looking forward to see you making progress on your layout again. A huge factory sounds good to me, oh BTW, the west side of your layout is the left side, right?:mrgreen:
