Yes, it's an Atlas 2-6-0 Mogul. It runs great, but you've got to keep the turn radius larger than 9" or it starts to stutter a bit - I guess that has to do with the 6 wheel truck.

You're much better off just painting over the engine. Stripping paint usually only works with brass models. Any stripper strong enough to remove the paint will likely dissolve the plastic as well.

I use Liquid Nails - it's great stuff. Whatever you do, don't get any airplane glue, or glue made to bond styrene on the foam. It burns a hole straight through.
