hum, thats odd, AFAIK the only versions bachmann did of the USRA are the original (0-6-0) version, a mogul and a prarie - like these;

lets see, so far i have three freight motors based around F7 shells and drives, finally got an MDC boxcab to convert to a freight motor and three passenger cars (all unpowered as of yet) plus a "secret" project
was actually planning to use one powere bogie on its own as they should be able to cope confortabley with towing the weight of the passenger car that contains them. I hope!
The only thing with muiltiple drive bogies will be my freight motors and the lines flagship, but she is still a bit of a...
i didnt mean Horizon is trying to corner the market - i meant WALTHERS is! they have pretty much every other manufacturer under their wings ATM, just waiting for them to fall now!
dont think bachmann ever made a 4-6-0 version of the 0-6-0 (assuming you mean the USRA 0-6-0 from the standard series with the smoke unit), but bachmann sell spare tenders from the USRAs.
The separate tenders are supplied with wiring in them whereas the URSAs dont have wiring in the tender...
Hum, i dont like the MR Warehouse page - its far too confusingly laid out, you cant tell whats current and whats not!
was thinking more along the lines of their use underneath a passenger car, but the IT Class C sounds interesting!
bachman spectrum 44T and 70T switchers with individually powered trucks?
I ask because ive got one of each now as i "shotgunned" them out of part of the collection we were cataloging over the weekend.
Intend to use them to power two or four interurban cars depending on if i can find suitable...
lets see
spent saturday helping to catalogue ONE vanload of stock out of FIVE(!!!!!!!!!) that an ex-club member bequeathed the club - over 100 locos (including nine brass steamers) and a similar number of coaches and freight stock
spent sunday laying track on the new end board for the interurban...
Acoording to the yahoo currency converter its $994 as of 13.00 today - basically a con, you can get two Athearn Genesis Challengers (with sound i might add) and still have over £70 in change!
Now i know i have probably put this in the wrong forum - but my club recently recieved a VERY large amount of stuff from someone who passed away and bequeathed his entire american collection and layout to us.
In amongst it there are about a half dozen or more brass locos - what i want to know...
yes think they are the ones there are plans for in an older MR or MRC, will have an ask whilst we i am in crawley cataloging the ton of rolling stock someone has bequeathed the club!
err, wouldnt try kitbashing that kit - its complex enough as it is, its nowhere near being suitable for beginners (need at LEAST two or three years experience at building model locos before even attempting K1 let alone one of these monsters!

which is...
AFAIK there were some in one of the older MR`s
you mean one of these (link to picture on northeast railfans site)

will also find the same is true for all the new roundhouse stock - Horizon now own Roundhouse too and wont let Walthers carry that.
Mind you Walthers has too much under it anyway - what would happen if they went bust? half the companies would dissappear!
well dont even have to do that, the Long Island RailRoad had its types provided from standard pennsy designs so you could suppose what i did and say the Pennsy is the "parent" road for your shortline and thus use their types - just dont use anything that would be really unsuitable for your road...
