Here's two shots of the Pax cars... they have a "yellow" paint scheme F unit, and a "black" Southern Belle F unit. I was hoping they would have their "long black train" lead by the black F unit, but no such luck. I also scored some photos of a former KC street car, a Canadian Nat'l Railway...

No, Galen... I probably will not letter my loco's, caboose, and one passenger coach until I get my new layout in place. I hope you get that Russian Iron 4-4-0 real soon. This weekend I just finished putting in new overhead fluorescent fixtures with photo quality bulbs... boy, did that ever...

Thanks for the replies, guys... neither of my posts ever showed up on that thread, so I PM'ed Ocalicreek to let him know that I purchased a Spectrum 4-4-0, and have now received it. (It is a great little runner, and very smooth at all speeds) It looks like if I post in response to an e-mail...

Galen... My Spectrum Richmond arrived, and it is a smooth runner. Due to the fact that I tore out my old benchwork, and I'm building an all new layout (around-the-room type), I haven't been able to assess hauling power and grade climbing on the little 4-4-0, yet. Both the 4-6-0, and the 4-4-0...
