    An Interesting Question

Watch your local area for track repair or construction work. I've been involved in construction four grade separated crossings and picked up several brand new spikes left laying around. Doc

any tips for using glue to secure track to cork

I used cheap latex caulk. Run a thin bead down the center of the cork and spread with a putty knife. Lay the track and use "T" pins (I'm using 2" foam) to hold it overnight. Works great. Comes up easy if you want to change later.

    Name Game

While I'm not a doctor, Holliday is a variation of my last name. I've always been interested in the Old West. Mrs. Doc and I used to participate in chili cookoffs, using the team name of Chili Bordello. Our theme was a full front western saloon wherein I alternated between playing the barkeep...

Has anyone ever made a themed railroad?

Mine is based on the multitude of old western movies. Although not entirely fiction, most often they were quite liberal in their portrayal of cowboy life. Doc

    mad at ebay!!!

Although I have never used any such software, how is it cheating? Even if someone else uses s sniper program, they will never win the auction unless their maximum bid is higher than yours. If you really the max you're willing to pay, what difference does it make if you get outbid right away...

What can i use to mobel rebar

In my neck of the woods, rebar isn't used in sidewalks. If you use it, don't over do the rust as inspectors won't allow it if it is too bad. You sometimes find a wire mesh, typically with 6" spacing. The suggested window screen might work for this. Doc
