    wehn you lay your track in real you will have some play room left and can always cut a small piece to make it fit or cut some off to make it fit. nothing planned comes out 100 percent as planned

    bacchmann does not produce any new dd40 models, any you would find would be old or used ones, might be ones sitting ona shelf in some store for years. athearn makes a semi model of one, you would have to change some details and cabs ebay is the only place to them right now

    if your going to run something that size 22 is the bare min you require you will have a lot of hang over the tracks, i would go bigger then 22, nothing smaller then 24 or 26 to make it look better

    i learned from a mistake, the motor is for dc voltage only, i hooked mine up to the wrong side and almost burned it out. get a atlas control for the turn table and it will work better i am sure
