Nice clean installation. Can't wait to see it when completed. Looks like you went with the Walthers Kit. How does the turn table match up with the tracks to the maintenance shed?

You won't find burnt orange at any Wal-Mart. You will need to go to a hobby shop or an Art Supply Store. Do you have a Hobby Lobby?

    Congrats To the Steelers!

Let's be nice everyone. We shouldn't be name calling here. We are all adults working our railroads everyday. The Super Bowl is only once a year. Maybe your team will win next year. Now back to the rail talk. Boy did those Steelers RAILROAD those Seahawks!:D

Con Cor Heavyweights & Unimate Couplers

Jon: Below is the reponse from Micro Trains regarding their conversions for the Con Cor Heavyweights. Obviously, they have heard from others based on the response. I will have to look at the coupler itself to see where this V cut should be and best find a modeling file to cut the V. More...

    walther's caboose needs MTL couplers.

You will need to know the manufacturers name for both your cabooses. Then go to http://www.micro-trains.com/00_conversions.htm and look up the coupler numbers. Sometimes it is easier to buy the trucks & couplers together to ensure proper fit. You can probably buy just to couplers for a...

Another Asking For Help with N Scale Layout or Am I Crazy

I am going to attempt to combine a table layout with T-Trak Modules. I don't know if it has been done before. I have included the table design that is already built (actually 2 tables). I am sure I have allowed enough space on the table to 2 or 3 trains running at once as I want a lot of action...

looking for a compressor, but havent been able to find it anywhere

I pick up an air compressor at Costco. It had a lot of extra tools I can use on the railroad (air gun). For the airbrush you will need to add a filter. You can get a filter on ebay for about 15 bucks.
