Well, I tried some brush painting today with acrylics. The paint was so uneven. I think I may try my airbrush. I have never used before. I did get some nice brushes so I don't think that's the problem. I sure hope practice will make me better.

I have some Floquil paints that are at least 10 years old. Can anybody tell me what I can thin them with for aribrushing? And what I should clean the aribrush with after using them? Thanks for any guidance.

Thanks Dr. Wayne - appreciate the pics. Does the Krylon clear matte have the same problem with turning milky (with water thinning) as the Dul-Cote?

I'm finally playing with trains Just wanted to show ya'll my practice layout. This is N scale although I will build my permanent layout in HO scale after my daughter moves back out of the house. I am really enjoying running trains as often as I can.:mrgreen: Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
