    What do you use for fascias?

    If your layout is going to be out in the open, and in a high traffic area of your house, you can use stained wood on the visible sides, you'll need a jigsaw to cut out the pattern, but in the end it will look alot better. but if it's just in a basement, then it doesn't matter

    How do you plan to continue, Are you going to lay all the track then start with the scenery, or work in sections? if you lay all track first what kind of time frame are you looking at until all the track is laid for such a large layout?

    Great job on the office building, have you thought about adding the top of an elevator shaft to the roof? and if you cut out a couple random windows, then added some lexan that you have heavily tinted, you could have a light in there and it would give a feeling of a real sky scraper at night

    Get your self a glue stick(or a few) and glue the pages to the table, then just cut everything out after that isn't track, lay the road bed on top of the paper that is still glued to the table

    Thanks, I bought the kit from Alberta hobby here in Edmonton on the Yellowhead. It was a Walthers kit. I am still looking for another. I am also going to add some Pipelines in my layout.

    make one yard with both ends returning to the main line, this way you can drop off cars at both ends, mix up loads, or just bypass it.
