    Hello from Italy

Hi Fabio and welcome. We're happy to share with all. What type of paper model interests you?

    I am a model builder...

Neat hobby. And from Legos yet! And you've authored a book about it:cool:. My wife loves Golden Girls so that's the one I looked at first. Nice job.:thumb: Glad you joined us. Hope you share your techniques and tips as we share ours with you. Look around and jump in wherever it appeals...

    Yamaha VMAX

A well-deserved award - congratulations! The fit and finish of your work is really a pleasure to behold. Again, if it weren't for the scale cube I could be convinced this was an engine straight from the factory. Either that or........how did you make that scale cube so big?!? :p

    USS Enterprise CVN 65 1/300

    UHU02's Valley Forge

Your English is understandable to me uhu02. You are probably right about the underside not being done. From what I've read of movie props and models no time is wasted on areas that will not be seen in the film.

Try this link to an unofficial Lima collector's site . Without more specific information (steam/diesel, scale) it's hard to know what to look for. hth

    UHU02's Valley Forge

Such great work! I think I'll put a Genius-at-Work sign up on your threads uhu02. Did you ever find any references for the underside of the Valley Forge?

    Sd.Kfz. 9 Famo (Angraf 5/2005)

Hi Igor. Around here you have what we call stick-to-it-iveness (the determination and ability to continue working on something even when it's repetitious or boring). The outer track wheels really look good! :thumb:

Thanks Mike! I have read of modelers using toothpaste as a microfine polishing agent, hadn't heard of this one before.

Goodness!, that's beautiful work Mike! What do you use to polish the mold before the superglue coat?

That's OK. I'm still learning how to build things myself. What kind of papercraft interests you?

Polish steam locomotive Ty2 (1:25 scale)

I emailed him asking him to return but received no reply. Saw him visiting once but that was it. It would have been great to see him here as he is an immensely talented modeler.
