Green Army Men Equipment and buildings and stuff…

I’ve been playing, but too lazy to post. I have some neat little tips for workbench stuff, I will post later. My supply of casting materials… silicone and resin arrived today. That should be fun. But, this is what I actually did today… I started the first 12” x 12” tile for my game board. I got...

Sentinel build (Sudsy builds another Patoroch design)

Much fun! If you don‘t mind, what model did you use for this? I couldn’t find in the thread. :)

HOW do they steer the things?

So, how are ships like TIE fighters, etc… steered? What makes them turn in the vacuum of space? Little thrusters? Other unknown gadgets? I need to know.

    1960 Alvis TD21

Good idea. I just thought of a bottle of ‘liquid electrical tape’ I got for my solar power projects. I need to test it for making ‘tires’.

As a note, the aluminum ‘duct tape’, which is shiny aluminum with a sticky back works for lots of model chores. It is shiny enough to be a reflector and is very easy to stick onto something as a backing. I have used it as reflectors in light fixtures and as ceiling tiles in one build. Good stuff.

    I got some me time!

Wow, she looks like a great buddy. I love my animals. My little dawg is my only pet now. Never had a dragon, but I did have quite a few little color changing lizards over the years.

    Need rivets?

I’m laughing at that picture above… look at the lines of rivets above the arrow. They aren’t straight or even, and this is an aircraft! Let the rivet counters look.

Wrong… my wife isn’t there to tell them what to do. :smoker:

1954 Hudson Hornet, Mobius 1/25 scale kit

This is the air brush I got. They had a big discount at the time so it came in at right 50 bucks. It appears to be very well built. I thought if the little compressor dies eventually, I’ll just dig out my fancy one. It is a Silent 50 compressor.

Thank you! I have a cheap, double action gun with a tiny compressor that is adjustable. No pressure gauge, but I figured it will work… max pressure says 35 psi. I have a professional, VERY expensive compressor, for metal engraving (past hobby) but I don’t have room or energy to use it now. So...

    Homemade tools and organizers.

Go for it! I have a HUGE wooden desk and storage unit plus more space in our bedroom, but I can’t get to it. Too much stuff from former hobbies. Last fall I planned to move the stuff out to a storage unit in the yard, but it started snowing and never stopped. It is STILL snowing. Hopefully...

Very cool, thanks! The Mini AT-ST and the AT-TE look like they would make good buddies for my 1:35 Army Men. :noteeth:
