Hi guys. I decided to start a new build thread featuring a chopper trike motorcycle model similar to this one:

Maybe this might inspire some of you to want to try some scratch building of your own.
I've taken some photos of my starting progress which I will post here, and I will continue to post photos each day of my progress. Hope you enjoy.

Some more work done today little by little. Getting the axle painted, the front brake pad is ready, the front fork for the front tire, rolling up paper for different components and getting the headlight ready using aluminum foil and air drying clay.

Very nice. Judging by the tire size, this will be a nice sized trike. :)

Getting a lot of component parts done for my trike. I've finally been able to fit some parts together such as the rear wheels and the gas tank & seat. Pretty much got the front headlight done and some brackets to help brace the back axle. Slowly coming along.

Just tossing an idea out to you. A lot of trikes these days are using car rear ends with automotive differentials. They are putting Chevy 350 V-8's in them. Below is an overly complicated picture of you. There are many larger bore motorcycles with shaft drives that are used to make the bike a shaft drive bike. Theoretically, you could use your same engine design, or branch into V-8's or V-6's and try a shaft drive trike. Just an idea. I'd also consider making a double cradle frame down below, and a perimeter frame up top, with the gas tank in the middle. It would be awesome! Bump your game up a little. All bikes now use,(and for quite some time) perimeter or trellis frame bikes, including Harley. They offer a rigidity, and with some Harley's doing 170 mph, they need that. It would look really cool tool :)

Perimeter frame, the Black part unbolts, the gas tank sits on the frame, when removed, you have access to the whole engine.:

Yes I've seen some paper builders making frames like the one you have pictured. Thanks for the ideas, perhaps I'll try them sometime. I'm always open to any and all ideas.
