cheers - ill be using acrylics, probably Army painter range but not sure yet. The main colour will be red, my youngest used to have an army called the 'Blood Angels' who dressed in red armour/red vehicles etc. Ill also be doing icons for some of his favourite bands (he loved metal like Iron Maiden, Metallica etc) amongst all the details.
Bit more progress, not loads as i was at the hospital yesterday, but the toes are on (phew) and the pistons atop them are underway. Ive also started the core work on the ankle joint.

knowing how my youngest liked his 40k minis painted, it would definitely be battle worn lol
so little more progress, ankle joint is done, just got to add 5 supporting pistons, but then its on to the lower leg, but before that happens ill get this prepped for painting lol - this part is one of the more complex areas of the kit, many of the other parts while somewhat involved are that much larger so hopefully progress will happen faster
but even before that happens, the other foot must be done! pray to the card gods for me lol, more soon
So back to it, have been away for a little bit but am slowly getting back into the swing of things. Ive not had much of a chance to carry on with the Titan build so ill be picking up where I left off - continuing the Leg, once thats done ill see if i can get some painting going while im building the other leg, then itll be onto the body. Im toying with using magnets to hold the main joints together, we shall see. 
I am sorry to hear that you were not feeling well. I am glad to hear that you are feeling better now. I am looking forward to seeing how the Titan will turn out.
lol the very day of my last post here and i ended up ill (again) since 
and have only recently managed to start things up again (again...again...) but im trying to make the most of healthyish time lol - So ive got a bit more work done on the leg, whats not in these pics yet is the fact ive completed up to the hip joint. Looking through the instructions theres some more (simpler) work on the body coming up so hopefully ill get a bit more done sooner rather than later btw i apologise if i reach retirement age before i finish this but finish i shall lol anyway...heres the pics so far:

And so here it is, main structure of 1st leg all done, ready for some base painting (ive just got to do the armour plating/guards) ill be moving on to the groin/hip joints then other leg before cracking on with the body. As it stands atm its around 17cm from base of feet to top of hip...
