This is my first time building a paper model, and this is the first week of the project. I’m looking forward to receiving feedback and suggestions.

The back and front of the hull (Parts 1 and 2) were cut separately. I found that folding them together and cutting them at the same time, as instructed, made it difficult to align everything properly. After cutting, I laminated the parts between two pieces of glass for about a day to prevent warping.

I’m not completely happy with the struts because they look too flat. To improve them, I made a strut template and wrapped it around the original struts. Unfortunately, they still look a bit messy - especially when viewed from underneath - so I’m hoping this won’t be too noticeable once the model is complete.

I’ve also completed the upper hatch and ECS module, and I added some details to the hatch to make it more 3d.
