That's a shame seeing that just sitting there and not in a museum where it can be preserved for future generations to see.

I asked around about it. Apparently a former Amtrak employee bought it from Amtrak when he retired in the early 90's. Unfortunantly, he never got the funds to do any type of restoration on it. Shame though.
Sounds to me like a good community project. It probably will cost ten times the original cost in order to restore it though.nolatron said:
