My animals.

...thanks, but there are other master modelers here, I'm glad that even after years of gluing, I still enjoy models :)

After a little persuasion, I managed to fold the leopard, and it even stands up nicely, which is not always possible... ;)a few photos:

Wow! The leopard is much smaller than I thought it was.

Getting a four legged animal to stand with the feet flat sometimes is a bit more difficult than people realize.

Nice work as always.
:)

Great work, my one gripe is with the model itself, not your build... The end of the tail looks like a club...

Thanks :)

I have the snow leopard finished. I made a base, I used pebbles, dry grass and a little snow as a base, considering the environment where this animal lives. I also made his whiskers from dry grass...a few photos:

Great work! :bowdown::bowdown::BRAVO::BRAVO::BRAVO:
Like what you've done with the diorama / background. :)
Could you do a tutorial on how you made the diorama? Thanks!

Thanks:)

...that tail seemed strange to me too, but then I looked at the real animal and it really does have such a massive tail, I even read somewhere that to keep it warm, it lies down in a cave or hole in the ground and wraps itself with that tail...maybe the end of that thing could have been made from 2-3 parts and not one, but even now it was quite complicated and consisted of 9 parts...;)

As for the base, I first glued larger stones and spread glue between them and sprinkled small stones (except where the animal is standing), I tore dry grass from the garden and glued it in a few places... finally I added some snow, which I make from baking soda - I think it's intended for removing limescale from washing machines, I bought it at Tesco...;)

Thanks:)

Thanks for the advice on the background. It's quite helpful.:)

Mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei)

(series: The World's Most Endangered Animals)

Scale : 1:?
Author : Michal Dudáš
Source : ABC magazine

A few words about the original:

The Mountain Gorilla is one of the most endangered species on our planet. It is a herbivore that spends almost the entire day searching for food and consuming it, or resting and digesting it. The Mountain Gorilla is one of the closest animal species to humans, so it is a paradox that it is Homo sapiens who has contributed the most to its near extinction - mainly by clearing the forest - its natural habitat, poaching, mining of raw materials or military conflicts .... Today, there is essentially only one mountain forest in the world where several families live. It is located between Rwanda, Congo and Uganda. The American zoologist Dian Fosey, whose life story became the subject of the successful film adaptation Gorillas in the Mist, also contributed to their rescue.

My modifications:

The gorilla glues pretty well. I made a base, as an addition I used dried and painted leaves from a tree that grows in my garden...a few photos:

It's nice to have so many animals, and not have to clean up after them!! :)
