I don't know if I'm doing this right but I'm done with I400 Submarine

Hello members. After a long time, I've finally finished the I400 Submarine model. I was particularly interested in the Japanese technology used to make it possible. That's why I left the hangar door open and let half of the aircraft stick out. It's not a perfect job and has 100,000 errors, but the most important thing is that I had fun and relaxed. But most importantly, it made me forget my worries.

I'm planning to build the Havoc Marauder model from the Bad Batch
next.

Great looking sub, there really must be some fantastic buoyancy in there to keep the vessel from rolling over?

You did a great job on this prohect! Making mistakes is all part of the learning process. With each new model that you build, you learn something new. The main purpose for this forum, is to ask questions, as well as learn and share tips and techniques.
Just remember, even the greatest of model builders started out not know what they were doing when they first started.

Great work, the biggest problem for the builder is his self critisum me included. I think you have done a great job on this sub.

Good start. If you do a ship, or sub, again, always start the former's from the ends, it is easier to fit the center former's to size. Always put a thin sheet of paper on the former edge, to avoid the "skeleton effect" Another tip is to always do former pieces as pairs on opposite sides, this will keep the framework, and thus, the whole model straight as an arrow. The model looks really good. These are not easy models to build. Keep on building ships, subs, etc., you will find yourself getting better and better, and be amongst the few who can build these kinds of models.

Thank you very much. To give the model shape, I pressed cotton wool into the cavities and paper in between. This is how I created the shape, not perfectly, but that's not really important to me. It has to please me and serve a purpose. To relax and thereby calm me down.
