Canon Creative Park - Change of Terms and Conditions on September 26th, 2025

Canon Creative Park is going to change their terms and conditions for their papercraft models on Sep 26th, 2025.

If you visit their site they link to the Canon PRINT app on the Microsoft store.

I cannot see how this will affect the availability of the models but it seems that only those who have a Canon printer are able to get them after the change. Future will tell.

So if you don't have a Canon printer and don't want to risk missing out a particular model, now would be the best time to complete your collection.

I went to the Canon website. You can sign in with various accounts, such as a Google account. Then you agree that Canon gets all of your information to use for whatever they wish.

I advise a blockade and a complete one. Don't buy a Canon Printer, they're junk anyways, and the ink is way too expensive. Don't sign in to their website and make an account. If they want to become a data hungry foul corporation that wants your personal information, they aren't worth spending a penny on, or on any of their products, which, by the way, can be found on other websites.

Their models have been around for years, and there isn't a model there that you can't find either the same subject, or a similar model for free. That site's usefulness has come and gone.

I belong to a technical forum, and Canon Printers, I don't know what they did, but have developed a bad reputation for longevity, price of ink, and software problems.

Zealotmodels.com never gives it's members emails to anyone.

The registration thing was established many years ago and so far it worked without issues. I had "adopted" two Canon printers once. Both were unable to print black correctly. Black was grey instead, no matter what I tried. All maintenance reports showed no issues. I have pictures of my test prints. When I put them on eBay I checked other offers and found one which produced the same faded prints but the seller didn't describe it as an issue. I added the picture of my test to the auction, someone bought it, and the buyer was very pleased with the device. Very strange. Apparently such a printing result is standard, otherwise I would have received a complaint.
