Best of both worlds?

Does anyone have any experience with, or suggestions regarding a WWI or early 1920's flying boat paper model that had pretty decent detail?

I also have an interest in a float plane, so your experience with these kits, as to detail, build, and such would be much appreciated.

I'd like to do the America, the other boat is rather ungainly from any other view, but there is so little information on these early Curtiss craft. I'm still researching data for the "America".

Anyone ever tried building the China clipper or any of her sister flying boats? I'm sure that would be a thrilling experience.

(And getting one to fly - boy, you'll sure get the girls excited with that kind of card-model!)

I did have that one, but the one pictured seemed to have a different paint scheme and even different curves of the pontoons.
