Babylon 5 Starfurry

Hi guys, After finishing my Snowspeeder I decided to build the Starfurry from Babylon 5. I found 2 pasterns for the Starfurry the first pattern is extremely detailed and accurate: http://lepaj80.narod.ru/ The problem with this pattern is it is just too good... I don't have the time to make a 1000 part project. So I chose to go with the simpler model: http://dpileggispicks.com/diegocortespardo/starfury/starfury.html The problem is this model is not the best or most consistent. Parts just don't line up :( Grump So...I don't know if it worth continuing on this project as I can see it becoming a pure pain in the @$$ Does anyone have any other Babylon 5 Starfurry pattern?
