And finally, after a long and (painful) wait......the space teddies are done, and the build is all finished. Apologies for the delays in this one, several surgeries came up and ive been on the recovery path, got more coming in September :hammerhead: so my presence may be spotty (er) for a while...

hey all been a bit :hammerhead: but finally got a bit of time to update: got my 3D print order to finish the diorama - and its........EWOKS! yep a set of our little furry friends just to add a bit of a finishing touch to the scene, also using a cpl of my old Star Wars Imperial Assault minis...

Well still waiting on my order 3D print) but hopefully it wont be too long before it arrives and the diorama can be finished. In other news it might be a while before im about as ive just had some not so great news from the hospital and ive got to sort all that out. Anyway, bare with...

I do miniature bases but also gaming terrain too. These days most of my models are for display so when i get the chance to do one i get stuck in lol :wink:

Thankyew kindly RB - it sits at around 99% atm - ofc i could leave it as is but tbh i feel its a little lacking so i put my order in earlier in the week and once its here i can get the whole thing rounded off nicely :toast:

getting there......ill get some more pics in daylight but for the most part the diorama base is done, just waiting for the last elements so i can finish it fully - but heres a few pics for now :biggrin:

and theyre coming thick n fast tonight lol :BRAVO:a few more, been adding the 'bracken' these are laser cut by Gamers Grass, about 20 in a pack, still more to go yet but hopefully its going in the right direction

Thanks all :biggrin: coming along.....still a ways to go yet So the latest progress, once all the base painting was dry it was all given its washes/shades & highlights. After this had all dried i began adding the vegetation firstly to the ground area then moving up across the surfaces. Using...

So some of the basic painting on the 'core' base elements down so far. The cork bark, large 'stick' upon it and larger chunks of cork bark were drilled and pinned then fixed in place with CA. The resin tree stumps were then set in position with CA before the base was given a go over with coarse...

so some more of the core elements onto the base today.......there will be alot of vegetation later on, but for now, letting this dry. :biggrin:
