    Sandtrooper, 1:12, Julius Perdana design

Thanks A small update: I worked on the leg armor and the ammunition belt. Because the ammunition pouches became smaller due to downscaling, I removed the top and bottom flaps and glued the edges together using super glue. It’s a good idea to label each part with its number to avoid confusion...

Thanks, Zathros. I'm flattered My work is not perfect. Try to look on Polish forums. They will blow your mind. But I'm always trying to do my best with patience and determination.

Thank you, Revell-Fan. I didn't know it is incorrect. But I've already built Speeder bike as it is and I hope Sandtrooper will be same scale whatever it is, if my foot compare counts. Just to keep consistence. I'll measure the height when figure will be assembled. And you did a very nice...

What you mean, bigger than it is supposed to be? On site it is stated that the scale is 1:12. After downscaling, I tried to compare by boots and relatively they are the same size.

Next was the lower section of the torso vest and the supports for the leg armor. You need to glue it tightly along the angled edges of the torso so that you can close it properly at the back. And I tried to dry fit it into shoes :) Fits perfectly!

Continued with the legs and torso. Everything still fits perfectly, although you need to think ahead about the order in which you glue the angled sections at the top and bottom of the torso to close it cleanly.

Originally, the model consists of 12 template pages. I managed to fit two pages onto a single A4 sheet, so in total I ended up with 6 pages. The instructions are very simple and are provided only as images on the Paper Replika website. I started with the shoes and the base. The base was...

Hello everyone, I’m taking a short break from the armor section again ;) As usual, this is my “rest” model — and this time also a test build in terms of paper and print. It’s the first time in quite a while that I’ve printed model templates at home. I printed everything on a Canon printer...

Well, here are my conclusions: A year and eight months of building, with a few short breaks here and there — I think that’s a personal record for me ;) From the beginning, I already knew what to expect, so there were no real surprises regarding assembly issues, lack of clear drawings, or some...

And finally, I managed to paint the tracks with generous help from my friend Igal, who has an airbrush. I also spent quite a bit of time installing the tracks and connecting them. Now the tank has its “shoes”! The last parts are the ones I always leave for the final stage and really enjoy...

Almost a month since my last post, but there’s significant progress to show. As mentioned earlier, I continued working on the Zimmerit plates. The outer layer was replaced with a bonus part printed on special textured paper, which adds a more realistic Zimmerit effect in addition to the 3D...

Hi all, Continuing with the turret. The last part was the turret floor. Although the instructions suggest assembling the floor together with the supports, I found it much better to glue it in stages: first attach each support separately and then glue the floor onto them. This is much more...

Thanks guys! I continued working on the turret. I assembled the side hatch doors, hooks, and the ventilation dome. There is, however, a disappointing mistake that I couldn’t correct. If you look at the hatch door drawings, the visor is shown on the left door and the shooting port on the...

I assembled the commander’s cupola. As usual, the design is lacking in detail, so some experience is needed to glue all the rings together edge to edge. The upper part of the visor shutters is a bit small, so I painted the visible space black to simulate the visor opening, as you can see in the...
