Agree. Titanium or steel yes. Carbon fiber absolutely NOT! Also there is an issue when you compress some material. For instance when Graham Hawkes was making the WASP (see below) when he was initially testing the transparent dome it worked well at depth, but when the pressure was lessened...

You should see it in game. Nothing to mess with. Knocks everything down then leaves you venerable to attack from the other Eldar force while it cuts and shoots you. Nasty piece of work.
