    Project 54mm 40k (inquistor scale)

WAAAGGGGGHHHHH! Project 54mm turned green in a fungal way! Hardcore Miniatures Space Orc Boy scaled up 160% to 54mm. When Inprinted these on the Lulzbot Taz 5, it had an E3D V6 hot end (modified from OEM Hexagon), and a .25mm diameter hardened steel nozzle. Layer height was .1mm and I was...

    Project 54mm 40k (inquistor scale)

Pushing my FDM printer to the limits here! Final results first. More to follow when I am in front of my PC and not my phone (I can type so much faster that way). Couldn't help but put these guys in front of Silveroxide's awesome Super Chimera I finished last year. His build post mentioned it...

ALIENS Concept APC 'a quick'ish one'

Excellent work here! I think this concept was better than the one they built for the set, but these days I now understand 'manufacturing compromises' when concept and reality have to meet in the middle somewhere.

Sudsy gets sick, Nurgle MKIV gets built!

Final assembly of the hips, legs, and feet. I used dried coffee grounds from my coffee pot, and unused kitty litter for turf and rocks. Epoxy, glue dots, and googly eyes for corrupt mutations.

Sudsy gets sick, Nurgle MKIV gets built!

Clickbait for sure! I remember @ARMORMAN announcing he became Grandpa by referencing the Blessings of Nurgle (spitup and full diapers...) a couple years back... Well, it all fir back together! The epoxy didn't make the head too big to fit back in place! On to the hips and exhaust. Going...

Into construction! Got the base of the upper body together before a pause for dinner and errands. Also dug up some reference photos from the usual places, DakkaDakka, Pintrest, and Google images.

Sudsy gets sick, Nurgle MKIV gets built!

Okay, I am in good health. Just a 40K joke, as the Chaos god Nurgle is the deity of rot, decay, and diseases. I am building this as a gift. A friend of mine, and fellow 40K lore fan, got married and I didn't find a good gift for the wedding. So I am making one. He chose a dreadnought, and...

Dr. Tetrode, Congratulations on achieving Escape Velocity!
