I have an update! I finally got back to this model.... Last night's progress was on the antennas and the iconic triple lenses. Using florist wire, I found the antennas a bit heavy for the card stock box they go into, so I ended up filling the container with hot glue after attaching the...

Now I'm going to need to follow this up there... Time to find a model... Or just build another BMP especially for that process. I've just been so distracted by my love Battlemechs and 3D printer lately.

Just got the results today, my Instructable is a Runner Up in the Paper Contest (2022)! So, I got one of the runner up prizes, which will be usefull for feeding this hobby!

Lamination is our friend! Add the layers! Why just use the sticks to reinforce when you can reinforce even more with added layers of detail (okay, a touch of overkill never hurt).

Nice! I've always had more success rolling out the form, then adding greebles... Laminated card and glue don't roll so nice, but it's possible (with enough water, and putty to fill cracks after....).
