Sorry, you are completely wrong. THIS is how a shrink ray looks like. Ray, as in BEAM, aka photonic Pym particles. They are emitted by a shrink ray device which is powered by a----- AHEM. please excuse me. at this time the world is not ready for more. YET. Things may change next year. ;)

Just FYI: I'm working on a new Star Wars model, too. I'll post a build thread shortly. I can't say anything right now in order not to spoil anything to the one who will be getting it but it is a new vehicle, something that has never been done before. Nothing canon but something cool. And in 1/18...

Raumpatrouille is a classic - the first German scifi show, made in the 1960s! They used kitchen equipment, tools, plastic spoons, forks and household irons as props. ;)

You can replicate that by dividing the horizontal faces and pulling the edges outwards. Two divisions should suffice for the beginning. ;)
