Aurora from the PC game Metro Exodus

“temporary” end. If I think of a few improvements, I'll post them.

Aurora from the PC game Metro Exodus

So far finished except for the railing. I'm using spare parts from a broken railroad car, I've already used a few parts. If I ever build another locomotive, I'll use the windows from this wagon...

Aurora from the PC game Metro Exodus

Greebling attempt - not particularly effective, did not continue. Gluing over it is not an option, better to cut it out first...

Aurora from the PC game Metro Exodus

I have decided to make the AURORA for the time being - from the PC game Metro Exodus (scaling 75%), otherwise it will be too big for me and also because of the pressure cartridge. Of course with building instructions...

X-WING (with movable wings & partial interior intention of the technology).

X-Wing is finished except for the base. Apart from a few small inaccuracies - which can't be completely avoided with such models - I'm satisfied. The second R2D2 also has its place now. When the base is finished, the pictures will follow. So a short break until the next model... Thanks for your...

X-WING (with movable wings & partial interior intention of the technology).

R2D2 is ready... Finally, the cockpit cover and a few finishing touches with a fineliner, perhaps later with the airbrush. I still have to come up with the corresponding base.

X-WING (with movable wings & partial interior intention of the technology).

the four lasers are ready. The parts marked in red are difficult to make, although it doesn't look like it. Next course - R2D2. There's a red one and a blue one, I'll do both...

X-WING (with movable wings & partial interior intention of the technology).

Laser top left. Now the two lower ones... Important tip: always attach an inner stiffener corresponding to the size of each part, otherwise it will look like spaghetti.

X-WING (with movable wings & partial interior intention of the technology).

a little something to relax in between (my son's dog, a Corgensi - a cross between a Corgi and a Basengi)... Let's continue with the X-Wing.

X-WING (with movable wings & partial interior intention of the technology).

First laser (open) finished - three more to follow. That was a fiddly job...

X-WING (with movable wings & partial interior intention of the technology).

finally the fairing is finished, the small parts were easier to assemble, I had to start the bow twice... Now the four lasers and the cockpit canopy are still missing - “glazed”, of course - and R2D2... Our colleague Revell-Fan has a great sense of humor.
