I found a scan of the Gul Oil paper lunar model punch card from back in 1969. I thought that the members might want to reminisce about it.

I built maybe twenty of these back in 1969! My neighbor owned a Gulf service station.

I am working on something with this very problem! I will be using cut strips instead of tabs, and then gluing twice on the seam, and Styrofoam inside to help bear the weight. In the past I have also used painting tape to ensure the seam over the cut strips.

I have decided that building all the main parts first, with very thick supports, metal or plastic or wood, using foil wrap glued by spray glue to light seal the entire part, leaving lots of foil to crumple into place at each seam, is the best way to seal for light leaks. The spray glue is good...
