If it makes you feel better, both the ships I designed (a 1:285-scale Leopard for Classic Battletech, and a 28mm-scale ISSAPC from Space Above and Beyond) I did in Illustrator, with the draw-cut-cuss-and-correct method. Then I'd color it all on Photoshop. The Landram looks awesome so far.
