Hans & Darwin, yes it is waterline. And I see that this can be used to create an innovative base. I've been seeing photos of past shows in Germany, and they make great water-like bases. I want to make something similar... who knows, maybe an iceberg can be done too.

Same process for the port side. Then, both pieces of the hull are joined at the rudder. It doesn't say in the instructions, bu I opened little holes where the hinges of the rudder are. So far, so good.
