I managed to salvage the instruction manual from archive.org. Seems to be complete, plus two page 17s. Archive.org has been known to ‘lose’ stuff. I had to shrink it to upload it, but it seems to be fine.

I think the ‘difficulty’ level must be taken with a grain of salt (or a dram of tequila…). I’ve worked on some difficult models before and the difficulty really seems to be in the mind, not the paper. Good start, good luck on the rest of it, no matter what scale. Watching! :bowdown:

A gold mine! Even if one doesn’t build the models, there are a million details waiting to be added to other builds. Look at this! WOW!

After looking at the photos and the prototype, I think I will do the front flare on the prototype side. I want to make the tabs much smaller and leave out the reinforcing strip. Just join the flare to the tabs, glue and reinforce and fill. Maybe tomorrow.

I decided to work on the prototype fender flare. Using the little specialty clamps, I glued the reinforcing strip to the tabs in the fender. I bit the bullet and used superglue, to stiffen the card stock. My UV glue isn’t here yet. Then I traced the shape and made the rest of the flare...

That looks perfect! I have a jar of oak sanding dust from when my wife refinished our deck furniture this summer. I will give this a try.

I think a full scale (1:1) model would make a great house. I wonder if Pilot would move in too? :biggrin:
