Hello all,
it's been a while but I'm still on it.
I managed to combine this (the one on the right is the final version)
with the base
resulting in this
This is the final base core. Now I'm working on the "Skin"
WiP
Don't bother about the brown color, it is just for testing...
Very nice work Walter2
Yea, i remember my build. And i still think there is more potential for greebles, but at some point a model has to finish....
..to start another one (ore two or three ......)
Very well done Walter2 and Chuffy70.
I have that templates printed out for very long now but still can not decide to start with it...
Well, may be i will do this one next,
if mijob takes too long to design the Andor TIE :biggrin::biggrin:
Hello again,
thank you very much for your kind comments.
This model was made a MODEL OF MERIT recently and I'm very happy that you all liked it that much.
I was hoping to finish the base so i can present it in a more suitable way ... but...
Life had other plans  :headbange...

Hello mijob,
i agree with all the above
Keep them coming..

What do you think about the concept having the ship "hovering" above ground ...
Hello again,
thank you all for your kind words.
Your templates and instructions where O.K. indeed. What ever changes i did on them where just because of my personal (illness in my head  ) wishes.
Can't wait to build that one, it's a too crazy interesting model to pass. So much...
Hello again,
here it is.
The TIE Phantom.
I enjoyed this build. It's my first TIE (but not my last, just waiting for mijob to design the Andor TIE )
I learned a lot on the way and had a lot of fun.
Thank you for the company on this journey and i hope...
Hello again,
thank you mijob and Rhaven Blaack
as promised some small greeble parts and the final assembly.
Mijob's templates suggest a multilayered paper pipe between the cockpit ring and the cloaking device.
I tried a different aproach. I used some yarn, wire, paper tube and some smaller...
