Thanks Zathros. I'm trying to sort out door templates while I can't build anything. Got the outer skin and mirror sorted so far and I'm now working on the inner skin before I move on to the door card.

Still here guys. Waiting for my printer ink to arrive and my son has been off school due to health issues, so not much accomplished this week. I'm considering building the headlights in 3d instead of texturing so that's something to look forward to. :)

Ok.... It works in principle, but needs a lot of refining. I think it may have to be a bit bigger and use thicker laminate and cocktail sticks. I'm pleased that it works though, I think I may have just created the world's smallest papercraft cantilever hinge. ;)

Have started on hinge placement this morning. I'm going to scratch build the hinges as a cantilever design, the same as on the real car. I'm also going to remove all those ugly fold lines in the final print.

I don't know about a perfect model tonino, but it's what I'm aiming for. I shall do my best. ;)

Bootlid templates are now ready to print. Lots of edge glueing and laminating with this set. Also lots of fiddly bits.

Bonnet latch on and both skins joined. The bottom edge has rippled a bit when gluing which is annoying. Next time im thinking of doing it from the centre outwards and a little at a time. Also there isn't enough downwards curve towards the front so that needs looking at. I'm fairly pleased with...

I've added some extra bits (highlighted red) to raise the heat shield. Hopefully this will look better than just flat card.

I've seen that bugatti. Very impressive. I was considering doing the phantom at the same scale as the wraith, but that's for another day. I'm going to try and finish the bonnet this week so I'll put pics up when it's done.

Oh yeah, I just got hold of a 3d model of a 2018 phantom . Looks like I've got my work set for a few years.

Thanks revell-fan. It's only the test, the proper one will look better. Zathros, it feels fairly strong and weighs a ton, (Not literally but it's pretty heavy) I hope I can make the hinges strong enough to hold it up.
